During this 6 week enrichment program, children participate in a variety of hands-on activities that teach critical thinking, along with topics such as; finances, environment, agriculture, and most importantly, confidence. Sponsor 25 children to participate for $750.
Every year, thousands of children return to school lacking the basic necessities for their education. We provide students with a backpack, notebooks, pencils, eraser, sharpener, ruler, and a few OTC medicinal items for the household. The cost averages $33/child.
Year-round programs include school-age tutoring and enrichment activities for 15-25 children. Additionally, this center provides a platform for women’s support services. Founded in 2017, it continues to move a once desperate community in an entirely new direction.
This one-room school was closed in 2022, forcing children to walk nearly 2 miles on a treacherous road to reach their new classrooms. Help us to safely reopen the school and bring education back to the community. Repairs needed to reopen include: Small restroom, a fence for the perimeter, and some grading. Total project estimate: $3000
