Angosto Kids Club
Angosto Kids Club, contrary to the name, is not just for kids. It is a community center where locals in the remote mountain village of Angosto can learn, develop friendships, and work together. It helps provide sustainability to the community with a garden and other necessities as well!

El Taller (The Workshop)
El Taller is an ACES sponsored program for students in the Dominican Republic to attend art classes. A local artist is hired, supplies are purchased and students and/or schools are selected to participate.
El Taller provides an opportunity for students to be creative and learn a variety of hands-on techniques for self expression.

School Supplies
For the past 5 years, ACES has supported the Faith Impact Foundation with their back to school program. This year 800 backpacks filled with supplies and medication for the household were donated throughout the Dominican and into Haiti.
There are now 800 more children ready for school and ready to learn this year.

Las Guazarus
To the southwest of Las Terrenas lies the village of Las Guazarus, the site of a newly expanded community building, sponsored by ACES North America. Renovated by local volunteers, this structure serves as a local meeting place and key element to the neighborhood.

Biblioteca Anacaona
This Las Terrenas library is a one-of-a-kind public service in the Dominican Republic. Featuring literature in over 8 languages, this multi-lingual collection provides an opportunity for both children and adults to experience literary works in their native language.

La Barbacoa Community Center
At the eastern outskirts of Las Terrenas, the community of La Barbacoa united in 2021 to build a center for clubs, tutoring, and local meetings. It is utilized nearly every day for different activities and serves as a gathering place that unites the community.
